Shaman’s Harvest is currently on tour with Nickelback and Daughtry. While that is sure to be a pretty amazing show, there was not an Oklahoma City stop on that tour. We were fortunate enough to have Shaman’s Harvest stop in OKC and play a more intimate show on one of their off days from the tour with Nickelback.

I have been able to see Shaman’s Harvest 3 or 4 times at festivals, and they were great. I was really looking forward to their headlining show, because I was ready to see them play for more than the typical 30 minute sets at the festivals. They played for about an hour and a half and it was pure gold. They were able to play their hits along with alot of the songs from their newest album “Red Hands Black Deeds” that released July 28th. It was awesome getting to see them play so much from this new album.
Make sure to get your copy of “Red Hands Black Deeds”. This album is an A+, very diverse album. It has the heavy hitting songs like “The Come Up” and “Off The Tracks”, then you have your slower, soulful songs like “A Longer View”, “Long Way Home”, and “Tusk and Bone”. The song “Soul Crusher” is a bad ass, groovy song that gets your body moving in that sexy way. “Off The Track” gets you back to banging your head and you can’t help but sing along. When I got to the song “Tusk and Bone” I was left speechless. This is just an absolutely breathtaking, story put to song. I get goosebumps listening to it everytime.
