Europe is one of those bands I never thought I would be able to see. When I found out they were going to be playing 45 minutes from my house it was a no-brainer that I was going to be there. Then I was given the opportunity to photograph the show and I thought I was gonna pass out. I felt like I was a giddy 16 year old girl all over again. Knowing I was going to be able to see them live brought back so many memories of driving to high school with their cassette tape playing in my car and singing their songs at the top of my lungs.
Fast forward to the night of the show. I arrived at the venue and ran into several friends who said they had been invited to a meet and greet with the band prior to the show. They told me the guys in the band were so nice and personable. I was anxious for the concert to start. The house lights went down and the concert started. From the first note out of Joey’s mouth, everything was amazing. Joey sounded amazing. He has definitely still got it. The bands energy was awesome. This show was everything I expected it to be and more. I hope they keep doing shows in the U.S. so I can attend again. I would highly recommend attending a Europe show.
